Accident Damage Assessments
Here at Motor Assess we evaluate damage to all types of vehicles. Our engineers use their extensive knowledge and Audatex estimating software to compile high quality detailed reports showing the cost of repairs, consistency of damage and the categorisation of salvage. We have a panel of licensed salvage agents who can deal with vehicle salvage. We can also provide you with an accurate pre accident value in the case where your vehicle is a write off. Our accident damage reports can be used as evidence in court ensuring that you are represented fairly and honestly by using us as an expert witness.
Insurance Claim Assessments
We provide in depth and accurate engineer reports for both insurance companies and their clients. We work with some of the largest insurance companies in Ireland and are trusted to carry out field inspections on their behalf. We pride ourselves on being independent and providing our honest findings on all reports.
NCT and CRVT Reports
In the case where your commercial or private vehicle has undergone the NCT or CVRT and requires a modification report due to a certain failure then we can help. We can call to your home or work and carry out an inspection of the vehicle and issue you with the necessary report required. We also provide VRT modification reports in cases where the VRT offices has requested a report while importing a vehicle. These reports can only be carried out by suitably qualified individuals such as ourselves.
SQI Reports
An SQI report is an engineer’s report carried out by a suitably qualified individual. We provide SQI reports for various reasons to include declaration of a vehicle conversion which is required by the revenue. This can include campervan conversions, van conversions and changes in body type.
Post Repair Inspections
If your vehicle has been previously been involved in a road traffic collision and has been deemed beyond economical repair and categorised as either a category C or D write off then your insurance company may require an engineer’s report to establish if the vehicle is safe to reinsure. We carry out on site inspections and provide a detailed vehicle condition report showing our findings. We also carry out post repair inspections in cases where your vehicle has been repaired after a collision and you want an expert report on the quality of workmanship carried out.
Forensic collision investigation
We are trained at carrying out forensic inspections on all types of vehicles including motorcycles, cars, vans, trucks and agricultural vehicles. We provide comprehensive forensic reports that can be used in all courts. These reports can be used by the legal sector and insurance companies. These reports are often used in cases such as a pedestrian impact, cyclist impact or a vehicle collision.
